“Do I need to stop drinking coffee?” is a question asked by many of our new patients. Yes and no, is the answer. Your chemical-laden, sugar-filled, and artificially flavored coffee definitely needs to go. The health advantages of good coffee, however, are numerous. It improves your metabolism, cardiovascular health, digestive health, and contains antioxidants.
Most store-bought coffee is covered in chemicals, artificial flavors, and contains mold. You want to make sure the coffee you are drinking is unflavored, organic, and tested for mold. Although there are health benefits of coffee, too much of anything may be hard on your body from time to time.
